    Either a deposit or full payment will be required at the time your booking is confirmed. The amount will depend on the type of booking you are making and/or your travel date and will be advised prior to your booking being confirmed. Should a deposit only be required at the booking stage you will be advised of the date your balance is due. I am happy to take payment by instalment up to the final balance due date . Payment can be made by a variety of methods, namely credit or debit card as a telephone transaction, bank transfer, cash or cheque. I am unable to take payment by American Express. Some terms and conditions apply to payment methods depending on the type of booking you are making, but this will all be discussed as part of the booking process.

    There is no charge for my service and I will research your holiday requirements and offer suitable options to you prior to any payment being made. Once your booking  has been confirmed, the supplier(s) I have used will pay me a commission. There are a very small number of suppliers who don’t pay me commission and I therefore occasionally need to charge a small booking fee but you will be advised of this and the amount will be kept to a minimum.    

    There are generally 2 types of booking I can make for you.

    1. I am a preferred Agent for over 200 Travel suppliers and can book any of these for you at the same cost as you would be able to book directly with them.These suppliers include household names and small, niche Tour Operators you probably won’t be familiar with. The benefits of booking with me include my impartial, honest advice that you are booking the best option for your requirements and the assistance I can offer you from the initial enquiry stage through to your return home. I will ensure you are aware of entry requirements for your destination, assist with on line check in whenever possible and print your travel documents for you. Over the last 35 years I have established a fantastic working relationship with many of these suppliers and have reliable, experienced contacts with many of them who are as passionate as I am about looking after my clients. The suppliers I use sell a huge range of products from cottages and holiday centres in the UK to round the world trips.
    2. I can also tailor make a holiday to suit your requirements, using my atol licence when appropriate. Your package may include any combination of flights, ferries, rail travel, accommodation, car hire, transfers, cruises, coach/small group tours and can be single centre or multi centre trip to pretty much anywhere in the world.

    I have 35 years of experience in Travel Sales, 25 of those managing High Street stores for brands you will be familiar with- Pickfords Travel, Going Places and Thomas Cook. When I first started, air tickets were hand written and we were required to have a good understanding of fare types and how the air industry works.  I have travelled extensively myself and have a good, personal knowledge of many destinations. I also have an extensive network of contacts for advice and information on destinations I may be less familiar with. My only concern is that my clients book the best travel option for their requirements. Having worked for the bigger Travel companies I am very aware of how staff in stores and call centres are trained to sell what’s best for themselves and the company they work for –  my approach is refreshingly different and I am proud to be independent. The advice I give you will always be honest and unbiased, and I will take care of your booking from the initial stages until your return home. Any special requests/requirements will be notified to accommodations and I will also organise airport assistance, online check in whenever I can and anything else which will ensure your trip is special and memorable.

    Yes, I am able to offer a full range of additional services including Travel Insurance, airport parking and lounges and overnight hotels. I also sell excursions and sightseeing tours around the world, with many of the packages available representing a considerable saving on paying individual entry fees locally. I offer the full range of Orlando attraction tickets and other Theme Park tickets around the World. The range of “Experience” vouchers I offer is perfect for gifts and incentives at any time of year but particularly good for Birthday and Christmas  presents-these include Pamper and Afternoon Tea packages as well as more adventurous options such as Helicopter Experiences and  Hot Air Balloon rides. I can organise selected football stadium tours and Theatre Breaks, so something for everyone!
